Further, Lara starred as the lead in the film Roxana (by Elahe Massoumi) portraying an Iranian journalist in a politically dangerous environment, a Bahaii wife (Family Of Too Many), the cabaretist and the right-hand assistant of a mobster played by Gerard Depardieu (BigHouse).
