Lara Wolf is a Swiss-Iranian actress and singer based in New York. Born in Tehran and raised in Zurich, her international background and multilingual range inform her work across film, television and theatre. She trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York after studying psychology at the University of Zurich.

Wolf portrays Queen Berenice opposite Anthony Hopkins in Roland Emmerich’s epic series Those About to Die. Her recent film work includes The Fix, directed by Guy Moshe, alongside Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi; Eran Riklis’ award-winning Reading Lolita in Tehran, opposite Golshifteh Farahani; and The Performance, directed by Shira Piven, alongside Jeremy Piven and Robert Carlyle.

Her television credits also include Quantico, where she guest-starred as Princess Nour opposite Priyanka Chopra, as well as Blue Bloods, Blindspot, and Amazon’s You Are Wanted. Her international film work spans productions across the United States and Europe, including leading and supporting roles in Neda, Atlas King, and 6 Hours Away.

Wolf is an original member of New York’s Primitive Grace Theatre Ensemble, founded by Paul Calderon and David Zayas, where she has developed work as both an actress and writer. Fluent in English, German, and Farsi, her career reflects the intersection of her European, Persian, and American experience.
